Cheap online backup

Hi im looking for a cheap company who can back up my home computer files such as photo's and music. I need about 10gb of storage, any suggestions?

Yeah why online server why you don't want your hard disk for this purpose.

I have an external hard drive but i often work in different locations and thought this may be a good way to access all of my files remotly. I also understand that some backup companies automatically update all of the files when they are changed. This would be very useful as I always forget to back up as often as I should...

With 10GB, you can use NetCDP to backup to Amazon S2, 10GB would cost you about $1.5-2.0 a month by average.

If your data is <25 GB, NetCDP costs less than most of the online service. Don't believe "unlimited", all of them delete your files if the files are deleted from local drive. So your actual usage is limited to your PC disk drive. Also, system files are not backup in general. So you do your math. "Unlimted" is just for PR.

I think you might want to find a VPS, as for Shared / Reseller plans the host might find it a problem.

You can get a VPS for around $10/m that will fit your needs.

Ahh for online backups rather than websites hosting, I know 2 good options:

Amazon AS
RackSpace Cloud Files

Both are very reputable and big companies.
